- Clear pricing and travel costs. We explain the price and scope before work starts. Travel costs, including any planned return visits, are included in your quotation or explained separately. If additional work or visits become necessary, we discuss any extra charges with you before proceeding.
- If it turns out to be more than we could see, we stop and talk. Old properties throw up things that weren't visible on the walk-round — rotten cable, dodgy old junction boxes, a circuit that's not on the drawing. If that happens once we're on the job, we stop, ring you, explain what we've found and what it means, and only carry on when you're happy with the plan.
- Reports and certificates. Reports and certificates are provided for the work carried out.
- BS 7671 and Scottish Building Standards, every time. 18th Edition work by an SJIB-registered electrician.
- Tried-and-tested brands with a proper warranty. Hager consumer units, Aico interlinked smoke alarms, Ansell lighting, Prysmian cable — gear we've fitted a hundred times and know the manufacturer will back. Cheaper own-brand kit might save you £50 today and cost you £500 in a callout next year.
- Floors covered, furniture protected, tidy up every day. Dust sheets down before we start, M-class dust extraction on any tool that kicks up dust, and we sweep up as we go. We leave it cleaner than we found it.
